WARNING: Going Phishing

Well they are at it again, this time the Con-artists are look out for your PayPal account, ok so they want your PayPal account. If you receive an email with the subject line "Unauthorized access to your PayPal account!" make sure you look it over carefully before you hit any of the buttons on it. First look at the email it was sent from [service@paypa I.com] if you notice I highlighted the discrepancy in red, at first glance this "i" looks very much like a uppercase "l". Another hint move your pointer over the buttons and links and look for the address its directing you too. I use Firefox and you can view the address in the lower left corner of the browser. In this case every link and button will send you to some website based in Italy [http://host178-234-static.14-79-b.business.telecomitalia.it/paypal.com].
I'm sure the website looks very much like a PayPal website, but it's not.
If you are concerned about your account just type paypal's address in or go to a previously stored bookmark. You can also forward the suspected email to
spoof@paypal.com. Just remember Identity thieves try to trick you into revealing your password or other personal information through phishing emails and fake websites.
Safe Surfing out there.
