In with the new. Out with the old.

Well 2005 slipping past and 2006 is hot on it's heals getting ready to take the baton.
We all know what went wrong and right in this past year and hind sight is always 20-20. What do we have to look forward in the upcoming year? What's hot and what's not?

It looks like one thing we have to look forward to is the ongoing controversy over "W's" authorizing illegal wire taps. The Justice Dept. Announced an investigation on who leaked the information about it. This goes along with the possibility of Congressional inquiry on the grandeur of the wire taps.

In the courts we also can look forward to Tom Delay, Kenneth Lay, Scooter Libbey, and an ever expanding list of righteous Republicans. It should be an interesting year as they face their day in courts.

We, in the United States also have to look forward to the 2006 Congressional elections, with many heated races.

In May we have the start of the 2006 Hurricane season here in the Northern Hemisphere. We can only hope that the meteorologist are wrong and this season is less active year, but some how I doubt it.

Who and What is HOT or NOT in 2006??

1. Mark Warner
2. Under Armor
3. Enforcing the "BILL of RIGHTS"
4. Smaller and more fuel efficient vehicles.
5. Smaller Airlines (SW, JetBlue)
6. Local environmental restrictions
7. Wicked, The musical
8. Questioning the Government.
9. Paying off personal debt.

My Person of the Year in 2005 is MOTHER NATURE. She proved this last year that she is pissed and has the last say, then punished us with her destructive power. Maybe we need to pay a little more attention to how we take care of our planet.
